Julia O'Reilly loves writing books about life, love, and imperfect people who indulge in the most heartstring-tugging aspects of the human experience. She has always been happiest when writing—whether it be into the late hours of the night with a glass of wine, or on the backs of grocery store receipts when inspiration strikes at inopportune moments.

 

She loves telling stories set in her favorite place—Lavallette, NJ—a little postage stamp of heaven. Her biggest hope as an author is that people see a piece of themselves in the characters she writes, in a reading experience punctuated by plots that move them and settings that are downright unforgettable.
