Zara Jade serves as Editor-in-Chief with editorial experience spanning from children’s literature to adult fiction. With no genre limitations and no subject matter she cannot thoughtfully navigate, she brings both versatility and discernment to every manuscript she leads.

While living in New York City to pursue careers in writing, publishing, and acting, Zara was mentored by award-winning novelist, producer, director, and actor Timothy Verrot. Under his guidance, she trained in method acting and method writing — an experience that profoundly shaped her understanding of character psychology, emotional depth, and narrative immersion.

 

During this time, she became a playwright and producer before expanding into screenwriting.

In 2019, Zara published her debut novel with Wattpad Books, where it reached #1 in Crime Fiction. Her work later became an International #1 Amazon Bestseller, solidifying her reputation as both a compelling storyteller and a market-savvy creative. She continued publishing through 2025 while simultaneously building her editorial career.

​Outside of editing and writing, Zara enjoys time with her family, painting, reading in her home library, traveling, and swimming.
